• Un-Fair: Brad Pitt is upset that Vanity Fair used a still from an art project he did with artist Robert Wilson on its December cover, according to TMZ. The video is also on Vanityfair.com. The art lovers on TMZ don't seem to mind the controversy. As one writes, "Hubba Hubba ... yummy ... yummy ... I'll have me some Brad Pitt."
• About those rising circulation numbers: One day after the New York Post and the Daily News each threw themselves self-congratulatory parties to celebrate their rising circulation numbers, the New York Times quotes Post editor Col Allan calling News editor Martin Dunn a "limp-wristed fellow," then the real paper pisses in the punchbowl of both circulation celebrants. Thanks, Times.
• Davos is so crowded, nobody goes there anymore: The New York Observer looks at the boldfaced guest list at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, which includes the New Yorker's David Remnick, Newsweek's Fareed Zakaria, Vanity Fair's Graydon Carter, and, at the kids' table, YouTube chief executive gloater, Chad Hurely.
• One tabloid says: A tipsy Ivana Trump had to be escorted from an L.A. party at Barbara Davis's house, adding this final detail: "More recently, she has taken to calling friends late at night and leaving rambling, incoherent voice mails," citing reports from "one website." Now, who would that one website be?
