Unemployed actress Mischa Barton and accomplished devirginizer Jared Leto are in a dead heat heading into Fashion Week's final stretch. While most stars try to limit their exposure to create a sense of scarcity, Barton is actively courting the paps, seemingly counting on continuous press coverage to ease her transition from OC starlet to movie star. In her quest to conquer, Mischa has stepped out (in multiple costume changes) at Fashion Rocks, Milla Jovovich's Jovovich Hawk party, Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore, Marchesa, Anna Sui, and last night's The Black Dahlia premiere, where she arrived on the arm of designer Matthew Williamson. Is it working? At a backstage photo-op, one photographer was overheard telling another, "That's Marissa Bristow. She's on TV."
