Highly regarded as the one of the finest screenwriters of our generation (having won an Oscar for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and nominated twice more for Being John Malkovich and Adaptation), you’d think the media would be interested in his latest film, Synecdoche, New York—particularly given that he was fielding questions at that movie’s Cinema Society and Mulberry premiere Wednesday night.
