Sheep Fall in Line for Fashion

THE GOODS Objects of obsession on display at the Soho H&M (editors' note: Thank God someone removed the dead weight on these models)
If you still haven't gotten your hands on Viktor & Rolf for (affordable fashion retailer) H&M, chances are you never will. It wasn't quite like Stella McCartney last year, but nonetheless the nuptials-styled collection sold out within minutes today at the Soho H&M store in Manhattan. (You know it's hot when a girl-mob starts squealing and viciously smacking each other with hangers in the face.) We're happy to report that there were still a few jackets and coats in large sizes left at 10:30 a.m., but the trenches, the pretty ruffle tops, and the silk cocktail dresses were gone within the first few minutes.
Famous for their eccentricity (bed-pillow head rests and ballroom dancing at the shows), Dutch fashion wizards Viktor & Rolf served up exceptionally well-made clothes with meticulous details: silk-covered buttons, perfect lining, satin insets—great designer bang for the buck if you're willing to forgive the silly bride and groom scenario they've been advertising in major metropolitan areas everywhere.
For those of you not in New York, you'll get a taste of H&M soon as those leftover Madonna track suits make their way to Marshall's and Ross Dress for Less.
