INACTION HERO Rogen
Seth Rogen, action-hero super stud?
Knocked Up's lovable cherub with the chuckles is inking a deal to go from sloppy ne'er-do-well to all-out superhero with a film adaptation of 1960s comic book, film, and TV show The Green Hornet for Columbia Pictures, Variety reports.
The role of millionaire publisher/crime-fighter Brit Reid may not fit the likes of George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg, or Jake Gyllenhaal—all of whom turned it down—but could work perfectly to ward off a shlub typecast for Rogen. The rising star is scheduled to make an appearance at Comic-Con next week to hype the project and promote Superbad, a script Rogen wrote starring upstart nerd princeling Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
