Saudis: Not Guilty, Of Anything, Ever

Prince Salman Saudi Arabia's still on a roll. A U.S. District Court ruled today that top figures in the House of Saud cannot be held liable for the 9/11 attacks. Mostly because they have immunity under this law, but also because we like oil way too much to ever put Saudi Arabia on the State Department's sponsors of terrorism list (even though they do kinda dabble). Also, it's pretty hard to come up with hard evidence linking the top guys to the massacre, and if it wasn't, the U.S. government would probably find a way to make it so. Interestingly, one of the guys let off the hook by today's decision, Prince Salman, allegedly sent assassin squads after Osama Bin Laden twice during the early '90s. Maybe somebody will sue him for hiring incompetent hit men?
