Rudy Giuliani Don't Need No Stinkin' Endorsements

Rudy Giuliani's flailing Florida campaign has already been widely judged a failure of strategy: The idea that a candidate could sit out the first four major races and bank everything on a victory in the Sunshine State seems, in hindsight, to have been a radically stupid move. It also seemed that way in foresight and regular sight. Still, give the guy credit: He will continue to whiz away and tell you that it's precipitation no matter what the circumstances. Take his latest campaign ad, which is based on the theory that it's a good thing that none of those papers endorsed Rudy. Why? Because they're just so damned liberal. Up next: an explanation of why not winning Florida is a net positive—real Americans don't want a bunch of old Jews telling them who should be president.
