STAM CAM Jessica, Pak Ahhhh, Fashion Week. Last night the festivities kicked off as designers Jack and Lazaro presented their Proenza Schouler for Target collection at downtown boutique Opening Ceremony, where Jack White baby mama Karen Elson and MTV News talking head Suchin Pak trawled for cheap silk dresses without the annoyance of Target's extreme overhead lighting or bulk diaper-buying clientele.
The crowd then moved on to the Miss Sixty show at 7 World Trade Center, where the rockstocracy (Rolling Stone spawn Alexandra Richards) met the rock stars (Pink). Backstage, the photogs thronged starlet Camilla Belle and Adrien Brody before glomming onto rapper Eve and writer-model hybrid Sophie Dahl, while the models took in the 360-degree views of the Manhattan skyline and got high (on Tab Energy, that is).
But the clear highlight of the show—inspired by the "tough-chic look of the 1920s gangster world"—was the inevitable seating drama.
