Having read early Wednesday that some paps were through with Britney Spears, Radar asked the esteemed panel of journalists and celeb-chasers at yesterday’s “The Britney Show: a News Forum” if they were finished as well. And more importantly, if so, was little Miley Cyrus in line to take her place? The consensus seemed to be a resounding maybe-probably.
Like TMZ’s Harvey Levin before them, writers and editors gathered at New York University’s journalism department for the event, which was led by Atlantic correspondent David Samuels, who wrote the recent Britney Spears article in the mag and teaches at NYU. Panelists included Bonnie Fuller, editorial director of American Media and former editor of Us Weekly; the New York Times‘ Virginia Heffernan; Page Six‘s Richard Johnson; and X17′s Brandy and Regis Navarre. And though Miley might be on-deck, this group’s bond with Britney’s is too strong to let go of just yet.
