LIKES TO BONE Roger Stone The New York Daily News gets to know dirty Republican operative Roger Stone, the self-descibed "sleaziest man in American Politics," who wrote a letter to the feds detailing Eliot Spitzer's penchant for pricey hookers all the way back in November. At least he claims he wrote the letter then—the FBI won't say if or when it received it, and Stone isn't exactly the most trustworthy man on the block (he's worked with Richard Nixon, Al Sharpton, and Donald Trump, which about sums things up.)

Anyway, in the letter he may or may not have sent to the FBI last year, Stone (credited with blocking the 2000 presidential recount in Florida) gleefully notes that Spitzer preferred not to "remove his midcalf-length black socks during the sex act," which is actually the most mentally disturbing detail we've heard yet in a scandal filled with disturbing mental images. Giving his claim a bit of legitimacy is the fact that he boasted to conservative radio host Michael Smerconish that Gov. Spitzer "wouldn't serve his full term" on December 6th. Stone claims he caught wind of Spitzer's hooker habit from a friend who worked in the Miami sex business, but has declined to elaborate further.
