Dylan Doubles Descend on Brooklyn

IT AIN'T ME, BABE Dylan stand-in When Sony decided recently to put out a compilation of Bob Dylan's greatest hits, the suits thought it genius to include an updated remix of one of Robert Zimm's classic '60s tracks—remixes being au courant with the kids. So they tapped Dylan's label mate and it-DJ/producer Mark Ronson (he of Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse fame) to re-imagine a Dylan standard of his choosing. The winning track: "Most Likely You'll Go Your Way (And I'll Go Mine)"—the first song Dylan has ever given to a DJ with his blessing (and the original masters). Once the rock legend approved the mix ("He's not just gonna approve some bullshit remix where someone slapped a drum beat over one of his songs," Ronson told Rolling Stone), Sony started organizing a video to help push the track, and the shoot took place yesterday in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The video features Dylan lookalikes acting out scenes from iconic videos and photographs, and The Simple Mission was on set to capture the behind-the-scenes action. With the Dylan biopic I'm Not There about to drop and this video on the way, it seems like cloning Bobby D. is the new black for 2007.
