BRING IT Trump It's fairly evident by now that Donald Trump's feud with Rosie O'Donnell is about something other than her claim that he went bankrupt. Just what that might be is up for debate. Ratings? Publicity? Poorly sublimated sexual urges?

In any case, O'Donnell's lawyers can rest easy, secure in the knowledge that her antagonist prefers to keep his hostilities at the level of idle threats—as court documents from another ongoing legal dispute show.

Early last year, Trump sued New York Times financial reporter Tim O'Brien for libel, seeking an eye-popping $5 billion in damages. Trump's claim was based on passages in O'Brien's book TrumpNation: The Art of Being The Donald placing Trump's net worth at $200 million or less. That assertion was not only false, alleges Trump, but cost him billions in lost business.
