TARGETED FOR DEMOLITION? Trump and his mega-manse Brassy billionaire Donald Trump is famous for his big real estate balls. In 2004, the cotton candy-haired developer paid $41.35 million for a palatial Palm Beach property called Maison de L'Amitié and claims to have spent another $25 million on renovations before flipping the property back on to the market with a hair raising asking price of $125 million, later reduced to an only slightly less shocking $100 million.
Reports now say that the 62,000 square-foot mega-manse has been sold and although word is the Donald got his full asking price, we've heard the number $90 million from Palm Beach connections. The six acre estate with 475 feet of direct oceanfront includes nine bedrooms, a ballroom, a colossal conservatory, two guest houses, a 100 foot-long swimming pool and garaging for 48 cars. More shocking: The anonymous new owner is said to be considering razing the mansion and subdividing the property. Looks like there's someone else in Palm Beach with even bigger real estate balls that The Donald.
