ON SALE NOW Matthews

The five-part Hampton Social @ Ross concert series, at $15,000 per ticket, is already widely considered a disappointment. Its first show featured a bemused Prince ("I see some sleepy rich folks up front") performing to a largely unmoved crowd. The most notable item that came out of it was that Leonardo DiCaprio was playing Bricklayer on his Blackberry rather than jamming and mingling. And now the bottom is falling out.

In an effort to fill seats for pop-folker Dave Matthews's Saturday set, the singer's fansite has tickets at savings of 92 percent—entrance to the show can be had for $250, marked down from $3000. (The original asking price covered five tickets for five individual concerts, including performances by James Taylor, Tom Petty, and Billy Joel.)

Given that Matthews's crowd is more a pot-and-beer than bling-and-bellinis set, the decision to play the show was strange to many diehards. But at $250, fans stand to cash in on a truly VIP-style experience and hobnob with the unassuming Hamptons set, including "luxurious seating, world-class food featuring the BBQ stylings of executive chef Adam Perry Lang, a top shelf open bar, plus pre- and post-show entertainment."

The sluggish ticket sales likely dampens plans to bring the concert's concept to Aspen, Paris, London, Geneva, and Dubai.
