Charlize Has Everyone Ignoring Everyone

I'D WALK THE LINE Charlize (Photo: Getty Images) There was but one lonely protester protesting the protester-movie Battle in Seattle at the Cinema Society & Dior Beauty screening in Manhattan Wednesday night. "Well, there's no such thing as bad press, right?" director Stuart Townsend said of the solitary outcry against his debut film about the 1999 WTO riot in the streets of Seattle. Well, a single protester could well turn that theory on its head, but sure.

But then, oh!, there's Townsend's girlfriend, Charlize Theron, who stars in the film. C'mon, Charlize, it must kinda suck or at least be difficult to make a movie with your boyfriend, right? "There's something strange about being directed by your boyfriend, but you have to make a conscious decision. If you're going to do it, you have to go do the work and leave home at home. It was something we were both so passionate about.... I really just didn't wanna go and fuck up for him," the star laughed to reporters.
