Bloggers Split on Whether to Police Themselves

  • Almost half the people on the Web would agree to rules for bloggers and commentators, The Guardian reports. Mainstream media, you are free to continue hacking. About 34 percent of bloggers in the survey opposed the idea. And 32 percent approved. The other 34 percent, presumably, made smartass comments about it that couldn't be construed as approval or denial. The rules would pertain to things like libel and copyright and are said to be aimed more at protecting bloggers and commentators than censoring them.
