Obama and McCain Share a Stage

• Talk on: Barack Obama and John McCain talked abortion, gay marriage, personal faults, and their least favorite Supreme Court justices with mega church pastor Rick Warren at Saturday's Saddleback forum. Speaking of gay marriage, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi got hitched Saturday in a small forum that we're guessing was way more fun than any evangelical forum.
• Not so impeachy-keen: Earlier today, Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf announced his resignation, saying he was doing so to avoid an arduous impeachment process for himself and the country.
• Staying in?: Residents of occupied cities in Georgia are waiting for Russian troops to withdraw after Russian President Dmitry Medvedev promised to do so under a EU-backed cease-fire agreement. But then, everyone knows that promises to the EU are made to be broken.
