Anderson Cooper: "Now Is The Time To Blame!"
Oct. 27 2008, Published 7:07 a.m. ET
CNN night anchor Anderson Cooper has gotten all "fight the power" on the financial crisis—last night, he unveiled the second of his "10 Most Wanted" financial villains. This is hilarious. Last night's mini-profile was former Lehman Brothers CEO Dick Fuld—eww, look at the pictures of Fuld's many tacky houses! They are gross and so is he. And Anderson's not wrong! Now is the time to blame. What is a little wrong is his (or his employer's) insistence on bringing on financial experts each night to do service journalism. It's actually not news—particularly over the last couple nights, when he's had financial people trying to convince the American people how they must support the bailout. You can't have it both ways, silver-haired crusader!
