Viorel Cincu, a former doorman for a swank Sutton Place building in New York City, is finally out of options. A few years back, he was accused of pocketing a Christmas tip (of $400!) intended for another doorman; the building's management said they had him on videotape. Problem is, the tape didn't have a time or date stamp—and it just showed him "holding up an envelope." He tried it all: suing the management company and the tip-leaving couple. Last year, the doorman messed up by not protesting at his unemployment benefits and wrongful termination hearing that the videotape was fudged. And now his suit, complaining that the letter from tenants was defamatory, has been thrown out altogether. But let's go back: $400? This building is out of control! It is throwing off the Christmas tip scale for all of New York City!
