marks the publication of Camp Camp: Where Fantasy Island Meets Lord Of The Flies, sold two years ago by Kate Lee at ICM. Kate Lee is the 21st most powerful woman in New York City, according to the New York Post (which also noted that she'd sold a book by "Page Six's own Paula Froelich")! This is the second of three books by Roger Bennett and Jules Shell; their first was Bar Mitzvah Disco, in which an essay by Jonathan Safran Foer enraged the litigation-threatening parents of the girlfriend he'd had at 13 (he said that she was "known to finger herself" and had had a nosejob). Their third book will apparently be a history of bad teen rock bands. And who says this generation suffers from the damage of premature nostalgia! In honor of the publication of Camp Camp, the books' editors have released a video (above) of writer A.J. Jacobs apologizing to his bunkmate from camp, to whom he showed his penis.
