Are you as confused as we are as to who slept with whom and when in the bizarre A-Rod/C-Rod/Madonna/ Kravitz love quadrangle? Probably! So let's take a minute to go over what we all know, now that things are coming into sharper focus.

Cynthia Rodriguez, A-Rod's long-suffering wife, has formally filed for divorce from her stripper-loving husband. A-Rod makes a lot of money and has a lot assets. She wants half of everything, as well as shared custody of the kids. However! She signed a pre-nup, which complicates things. Which is probably why she's hired four different lawyers in two different states to handle the proceedings. It's unclear whether the pre-nup is void in the event of extramarital hanky-panky, though we'll find out soon enough.

Cynthia's lawyers are stopping short of claiming that A-Rod and Madonna had sex, instead calling their relationship an "affair of the heart." Whatever it is, it doesn't really matter: her lawyers cite a string of nameless, presumably sexual extramarital affairs in the divorce papers, so they don't technically need to prove that A-Rod and Madonna ever consummated whatever level of friendship they shared. Madonna is denying that she and A-Rod ever got inappropriate, and also denies that she "brainwashed" A-Rod by turning him into a Jewish mystic. The singer also claims that she and husband Guy Richie are still together, and have no plans to divorce. To date, nobody's cared enough about Guy to make up any rumors regarding his extracurricular love life.

Cynthia did go to Paris to hide out at Lenny Kravitz's placed when this whole thing erupted, but she supposedly went with A-Rod's blessing. Kravitz denies any misconduct with Cynthia, and is now allegedly mad at A-Rod for not immediately issuing a statement exonerating him from any wrong-doing. While in Paris, Cynthia has managed to rack up a $100,000 tab during a shopping spree, either out of spite or to take advantage of her husband's money while she still can. A-Rod's lawyers are claiming she's greedy. Cindy Adams says Cynthia's "heartbroken."

What do we think? A-Rod and Madonna probably never slept together. Cynthia and Kravitz definitely didn't sleep together. (No way she's jeopardizing a huge pay day by doing something that foolish.) And A-Rod is about to be massively embarrassed as details of his numerous extracurricular dalliances become public when this thing goes to trial.
