U.S. Senator Ted Stevens [R-AK] Indicted

Heh. That'll teach us to joke about the lack of news:
Sen. Ted Stevens from Alaska, the longest serving U.S. Republican senator ever, was indicted on seven counts related to his holding of public office, a federal law enforcement official said on Tuesday.

The U.S. Justice Department has scheduled a news conference for 1:20 p.m. to make an announcement "regarding a significant criminal matter." The official said the news conference would announce the criminal charges against Stevens that have been returned by a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C.

You think if we throw up a post with a two-headed squirrel Justice might indict the president for something? Because we SO would. [Reuters]

It's a chance I think we're all willing to take. Hey, and while you're at it toss up a clip of a two-headed monkey and see if you can take Cheney down too (come on, you thought I'd miss an opportunity to promote the simian cause?)

if you have a picture of a two-headed squirrel, there's no excuse for with-holding (yeah, how the fuck do you spell that word?) it. i can also point you in the direction of pictures of disabled penguins in socks.
