Julia Allison Wins The Internet

nonsociety.jpg
OMG, have you seen NonSociety? The brand new website is the creation of Internet celebrity Julia Allison and two other broads who we're sure are just as brilliant and fabulous as Jules despite not yet having developed such a high profile here on the web. Anyway, the site bills itself as "your window into [their] crazy lives. See what [they're] up to and what [they] have to say. Take it or leave it. [They] hope it will inspire you to live differently."

A bold challenge indeed! But does it?

After a close and careful review, we can confidently declare NonSociety to be the greatest thing ever to launch on the Internet to date. Not since Elizabeth Spiers and Nick Denton pooled their mighty creative talents to create Gawker has a platform arrived on the web so fully-formed, complete, and in keeping with its mission. It's not an understatement when we say that Nonsociety will very likely change the way all of us—and that includes generations yet unborn—look at the web, the world, and ourselves.

And we're very serious and sincere about that. Disagree? We want to hear from you. First, refresh this page and read every word we wrote over again. Next, leave your own opinion in the comments. Then refresh the page again, just to make sure the comment took. Sometimes it will appear as if your comment is there, but that's actually a technical illusion, so don't feel strange about re-entering your comment and then refreshing the page once again just to make sure. Finally, navigate away from Radar, come back, and click on this item again, so you can guarantee that your voice has been heard. And check back over the next few days and hours—refreshing the page at least two or three times each time—to see how the conversation is progressing. If we know the Internet, and we think we do, we're pretty sure that this new project will meet with almost universal appeal. Why don't you refresh right now, just in case!
