Lucky magazine (it's about shopping!) has the richest readers of all the women's fashion titles, according to new research released Tuesday. In a blow to the aspirational yearnings of
Vogue,
W,
Elle, and
Harper's Bazaar, the catalog-cum-style rag (which comes with "stickies," remember) scored the "number-one slot in median HHI at $82,430," according to
WWD. The median
Vogue readers, by comparison, earned a relatively paltry $66,191.
Ladies who are loaded, apparently, don't want to be distracted by long-winded reports on socialites, presidential candidates wives, or the significance of artisanal cheese. They just want less of those pesky words and more arm bangles, thank you very much.
