Tom and Katie Star in a Tabs Choose Your Own Adventure

LOTS, PROBABLY In Touch cover
We trust you'll remember the Choose Your Own Adventure collection, those second-person books where readers were presented with a series of two options for proceeding—if you decide to start back home, turn to page 4; if you decide to explore the cave, turn to page 15. Depending on your selection, you were either rewarded with money for solving the mystery or killed by the Abominable Snow Man. With the weeklies offering so many different options for TomKat this week, we couldn't resist bringing you the Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes installment ...

1. The world's cutest alien, Suri Cruise, celebrated her second birthday with a $100,000 bash that began with an intimate family gathering including Katie's sisters and those two kids no one cares about from Tom's first marriage to Nicole Kidman. Later that evening, the party went Hollywood with Will Smith, Jim Carey, Eva Longoria Parker, plates of lobster and pasta, and a $5000 cake from chatty bakery Sweet Lady Jane. At the party, Cruise plants a kiss on his wife of 20 months.

• If the kiss was a forced display of emotion for the cameras and thus means the Cruises are on the rocks, turn to In Touch.
• If the kiss is proof that, as Kate's friend/assistant's cousin claims, "Katie's never been happier," turn to OK!.

2. Just two days after the super Suri party, Tom and the wife-bot step out to help a skeletal Victoria Beckham celebrate her 34th birthday at Via Veneto restaurant in Santa Monica. Katie arrives in a gold dress and dark sunglasses.

• If Katie is wearing the shades to cover eyes red from crying over Tom and the state of their marriage, turn to Star.
• If Katie and Tom were "all over each other" at the party and "acting like teenagers," according to an eyewitness/waitress, turn to Us Weekly.

3. Katie's career is in a slump. Her recent flicks have flopped, Giorgio Armani decided not to proceed with her clothing line, and talks of her starring opposite Jason Lee in The Other Side have stalled due to money issues. She's considering a Broadway stint in a revival of All My Sons, but that might cut into her Tom time.

• If Katie was secretly planning this New York stay as a plan to escape Tom and is now crushed that he wants to come with her, turn to Star.
• If Katie is thrilled that Tom is supportive of her career choices and will do anything to make the potential cross-country divide work, turn to OK!

All that's missing is a choice to skip ahead to the part where Tom and Katie fall into a volcano? Tabs, you've got one week to make something happen.
