Girls Gone Wild auteur JoeFrancis may be in for a taste of his own medicine thanks to a stolen tape showing him in a very compromising (anduncomfortable) position. Sources say the embarrassing video was taken along with cash and jewelry when celeb-loving thief Darnell Rileyand his Elite model accomplice burglarized Francis’s Bel Air mansion in 2004. While Riley was arrested two months ago (the unknown model is still at large), someone connected to the break-in has reportedly beenblackmailing Francis—using the tape as bait, we hear. Francis is sodesperate to suppress the freaky footage—which insiders say features theparty boy being humiliated with a large sex toy—that he’s beenponying up to keep it from going public. But with Riley’s case soon goingto trial, the fate of the tape is uncertain. Will Francis seize the mantel fromFred Durst for starring in the year’s most revolting video? Girls Gone Wild spokesman BillHorn declined to weigh in on the tape or the burglary, saying onlythat there was an ongoing investigation and that Francis’s employees“have been asked by the police not to comment.” On the bright side,we bet there are plenty of formerly “wild” girls who, sober now, would pay to see Francis squirm.
