Never mind the editorial boards or superdelegates. Barack Obama has a lock on the coveted bloc of voters who make their presidential decisions on line at the Piggly Wiggly. Us Weekly is firmly on Team Obama, the New York Times points out today.

This week, editor Janice Min dispatched the mag's news chief to go hang out with him for a day and lob the questions most important to Us readers. The result is a Barack edition of "Celebrities are Just Like Us!": "I Pick Up Groceries!"; "I Play With Babies!"; "I Ride With My Kids!"; "I Pose by the Tree!"; and the sort-of-awesome "I Love Hot Sauce!". Also, he refuses to answer whether he wears boxers or briefs but says he'd look stunning in either.

Hillary, on the other hand, is allowed to play but only if she plays the clown. Three weeks ago, Us highlighted a handful of curious sartorial decisions that Hillary Clinton has made over the years and asked her to explain herself (she obliged, winning points for humility).

Min acknowledges that the idea for the Obama piece came from an editor who is a "big Barack Obama supporter," but denies that her mag has an anti-Clinton agenda. And while Clinton did get the much-ballyhooed Perez Hilton backpat, it's Obama who seems to have locked down the supermarket superdelegates. Radar dug a little deeper into Us' coverage—it's the only celeb weekly to give its readers feature-length candidate analysis—of Obama and Clinton with a search of the mag's website, using each of their names. Results indicate nothing short of an Obamapalooza.
