The Ten Most TiVo-ed Super Bowl Ads

SALESGENIE STAR Not really, but it was pretty close
This year's crop of Super Bowl commercials were duller, dumber, and less engaging than most. (The baffling spots from Salesgenie were also racist.) Still, amidst the slop, some are less bad than the others. Below, the ten best ads according to TiVo, based on "aggregated, anonymous, second-by-second audience measurement data about how TiVo subscribers watched the game."

1. E-Trade: "Baby" (spitting up)
2. Pepsi Co: "Justin Timberlake"
3. Doritos: "Mouse Trap" (user-generated)
4. Coca-Cola: "James Carville and Bill Frist"
5. Ice Breakers: "Carmen Electra"
6. Bridgestone: "Headlights"
7. Bud Light: "Cavemen"
8. Vitamin Water: "Horse Race"
9. Cars.com Plan B: "Witch Doctor"
10. Life Water: "Thriller"

I liked the pepsi commercials in sign language!

Agreed on the baby spit-up ad at the top, but don't remember much else about the commercial other than the spit-up. E-Trade's other baby ad ("Clown") was funnier, imho, as it wasn't just a visual barf joke.

The "Thriller" ad would have been higher on the list if I had a TiVo. In fact, I want to see all of the remaining presidentail candidates dance to "Thriller" in unison before I decide which one to vote for. Now, that would definintely make this a Super Tuesday!
