< BACK TO Fresh Intelligence Is a K-Fed Interview Worth $250K?
TOO LEGIT TO QUIT Federline, Kaplan (Photo: Getty Images) In a Jan. 26 exchange involving Federline reps DMand Entertainment and his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan, a payment in the neighborhood of $150,000 is brought up in reference to a meeting with a television channel. Dan Dymtrow of DMand replies, "Isn't the $150k range a little low for Kevin to do this? Especially if Britney's random cousin Alli [Sims] got in the $250k range..." (Sims didn't get $250,000 for an interview—or even a first-class plane ticket, we're told.) A source close to the legal wrangling tells Radar that the interview in question would not even cover the Spears drama. For the money, "he could get a generic interview about his singing and acting career," the source says. Wait. He acts? UPDATE: Elliot Mintz returned Radar's call to say he was unaware of any offer made to Federline for a TV interview but said K-Fed has been very accessible. Asked if he thought Britney's drama had made Federline more valuable, Mintz said, "I think it might have made him more newsworthy." Full e-mail after the jump ...
