"You look like my grandma," joked Chi-town's favorite Pro Nails–sporting party rapper Kid Sister, whom Kanye showed up to support Friday (he's in her video for "Pro Nails," too)—also, his dead animal garb was riddled with more gaping holes than 50 Cent's torso (photo evidence after the jump).
Maybe Kid Sis was feeling a bit upstaged after a 15-minute so-so set of her own. As she wrapped (rapped?) the last song, the crowd suddenly surged toward the stage and Mr. West appeared for five or six abbreviated versions of songs, including "Good Life," "Can't Tell Me Nothing," and, of course, the Flavorpill crowd-friendly Daft Punk karaoke number "Stronger," or as Kanye put it, "the one y'all been waiting for." (Rainbow-bright hip-hop duo Cool Kids played earlier in the evening, too.) It's one of the first surprise appearances stateside for West following the November 10 death of his mother, Donda, but he bobbed and danced and seemed as cocksure as ever. Left to keep the full planetarium dancing for the remainder of the evening, Kanye's DJ A-Trak, muttered on mic, "Well ... how do you follow that?"
Duh, laser Floyd!
