Bill Clinton Breaks Out the Yuck-Yucks

Grumblings from within the Hillary camp that giving husband Bill Clinton a prominent role on the campaign trail might have been a miscalculation don't seem to have deterred Slick Willy much. Sunday, Clinton joked with a crowd of supporters in New Hampshire that, "I can't make her younger, taller, or male," showing off a bit of the famous charm that the Times notes has been somewhat (and perhaps intentionally) lacking.

Today, he even went a step further, pulling a Rudy by answering his cellphone during a town hall speech to tell Hillary that he loved her. Of course, the fact that he accidentally "missed" her first call, and his claim that "only Hillary has my number"—what, Chelsea doesn't?—give credence to the theory that the whole thing was staged, but who cares? Good show, we say! It may not be on much longer.
