While shattering fundraising expectations and peeing all over the plans of the Republican establishment, Ron Paul supporters have launched a blimp, rocked the mic, and made themselves an avant-garde and altogether undeniable political force. So it would kind of make sense for the next big step in Paul's mutinous crusade to go down at RonPaulapalooza, an event aimed at solidifying Dr. No's bid for the White House while going down in the history books as "the greatest assembly of freedom loving Americans since 1969."

Details are still being hammered out, but the event website humbly proposes "the largest fundraising event in presidential history" with two days of "music, guest speakings [sic], freedom, and hope for America." The site further notes that "a vast array of national musical acts that support Ron Paul will be asked to attend," which hopefully means that it will also be the first presidential fundraiser ever to include a jorts and sunglass-clad rapping slice of pizza. RonPaulapalooza organizer Matthew Jarfi tells Radar to "stay tuned" but reserved further comment "until this thing has taken off."
