< BACK TO Fresh Intelligence When Petersons Attack!![]() PETERSON GOLD-STANDARD Scott First up is Illinois police sergeant Drew Peterson, whose third wife mysteriously died in a bathtub and whose fourth wife has even more mysteriously been missing since October (a total coincidence, we're sure). Then there's 20-year-old Tyler Peterson, another former police officer, who killed six kids as they were eating pizza and watching movies at a high school homecoming party in Wisconsin. Then there's Kelsey Peterson a middle school teacher from Nebraska who hopped the Mexican border just so she could have sex with a 13-year-old boy. Unfortunately it doesn't stop there. Deep down in Georgia, Clinch County Sheriff Winston Peterson has just been indicted for perjury, obstruction of justice, using forced labor and extorting former jail inmates. And who could forget Scott Peterson, the man who started the trend. All he did was kill his pregnant wife, attach cement anchors to her body, and dump it into San Francisco Bay. He's currently awaiting death by lethal injection (assuming the Supreme Court ever lifts the moratorium). Who's next? Residents of Minnesota should be doubly worried—they have congressman Collin C. Peterson as well as Viking rookie running back sensation Adrian Peterson to contend with. (Our money's on the latter; he's just waiting to lash out because of his torn knee ligament). But maybe it'll be CSI star William Peterson, trying to manufacture a plot line during the writers' strike. Or even billionaire former Secretary of Commerce and Blackstone Group founder Pete Peterson. Yes, probably him! His first name even contains part of the last name! Be wary! The CSI star is called William PetersEn, not Peterson. The name practically means the same thing, "Peter's son", but the "-sen" ending points to Norway or Denmark instead of Sweden which, according to your theory, should be full of murderous maniacs.
