< BACK TO Fresh Intelligence Vick: Man's Best Friend's Worst Enemy
They might not yet have the right to vote, but our furry, four-legged compadres have plenty of lobbyists. According to Humane Society executive vice president Michael Markarian, over 130,000 people have contacted the NFL demanding that Vick be suspended for hosting an interstate gambling/dogfighting ring at a home he paid for in Smithfield, Virginia—the most vocal response to an incident of animal abuse in history. "We've never seen this level of public support," Markarian told Radar. "It's unprecedented." (Not that public outcry is particularly shocking: dogs deemed unfit for battle at "Bad Newz Kennels" were allegedly electrocuted, hanged, and beaten). While the NFL has yet to take action against Vick, corporate sponsors are slowly tip-toeing away. Nike has suspended the release and "related marketing communications" for its Zoom Vick V trainer, scheduled to hit stores August 23. The company, however, has decided to hold off on severing all ties with Vick until after the trial takes place. Vick, it's not looking good, dawg. PREVIOUSLY
It's a Dog eat Dog world Michael Vick's VA property details I am no bleeding heart PETA person but what Michael Vick is supposed to have done disgusts me. Michael Vick sold his house were the dog fighting was alleged to have happened but I found the stats on the property and a satellite view at this link http://www.housefront.com/PropertyDetail.aspx?qry=310955&propertyID=660646
