< BACK TO Fresh Intelligence Paula Zahn Leaves Nest, Finds New Mate![]() PAULA MOVES ZAHN Paula, Cohen (inset, left), Fribourg (inset, right) Speaking for both Zahn and Cohen, publicist Howard Rubenstein confirmed, "They are planning to divorce." However, he added, "In the interest of their children, they will not discuss it any further." (The couple has three children; Fribourg has four of his own.) Animal lovers may view the disruption of Zahn and Cohen's domestic bliss as karmic payback. As head of the co-op board for 927 Fifth Avenue, Cohen led the effort to evict Pale Male, a red-tailed hawk beloved by Central Park bird watchers, and his mate, Lola, from a nest on the roof of the building. Although the co-op board eventually succumbed to public pressure and built the pair a new nest to replace the one that had been removed, the two hawks have not bred successfully again in that location. Fribourg could not be reached for comment. An assistant in his office said he was on vacation last week and was not scheduled to return today—just like Zahn, who returns to the air tonight. Hairwise, at least, an upgrade for Paula. Let's hope he's not a bird hater like the last guy. Posted by: mordecai1945 on April 3, 2007 11:54 AM Weezie never divorced George over his (same) hairdo when they went and got all rich. Posted by: SpaceyG on April 3, 2007 1:45 PM Zahn is an elitist piece of anti-American crap. No wonder she lasted all of 2 seconds at Fox. Nice nose job, Paula!! Posted by: Steady on April 4, 2007 10:42 AM Let's back off Paula, shall we? When a man, whoever he may be hooks up with a beautiful, smart, wealthy and famous woman,it requires eternal devotion and communication. He made the biggest mistake of his life letting this one get away. No wonder they are lining up. Who gets custody of the birds? Posted by: jbenson on October 5, 2007 12:48 PM Advertisement |
