< BACK TO Fresh Intelligence Rove Gets Testy With Lady Lefties
It wasn't much, but in a year with no Stephen Colbert to provide actual newsworthiness, an angry exchange between the Bush Administration strategist and the self-appointed ambassadors of limousine liberalism was the evening's dramatic high point. David and Crow, who blogged their side of the story on the HuffingtonPost the next day, claim they weren't looking for a fight when they politely "asked Mr. Rove if he would consider taking a fresh look at the science of global warming." Still, Rove reacted badly. When Crow grabbed his arm to prevent him from turning away, Rove hissed, "Don't touch me." Her response: "You can't speak to us like that. You work for us." Now Sheryl, be honest. How many times have you used that same line with your assistants?
