Did Carlos Mencia Rip Off the Cos?

Bill Cosby is going to beat the pudding out of Carlos Mencia. Long the subject of joke-theft accusations, Mencia, apparently, thinks it's not stealing if the joke is over 20 years old. A new Web video begins with a scene from Bill Cosby's 1983 show, "Himself," in which Cosby jokes about a father teaching his son to play football. Cut to Mencia's "No Strings Attached" from March 2006, and he's delivering the same joke—ending and all.

Now nicknamed "Menstealia" by fellow theft-claim target Perez Hilton, the evidence continues to pile up against the comedian. Joe Rogan, George Lopez, and Nick Di Paolo are among the comedians who've publicly called him out. But no one—no one—steals from the Cos.

Representatives from Comedy Central, where Mind of Mencia airs declined comment, and reps for Mencia did not immediately respond with comment on the video.

Ironically, Perez stole the name "Menstealia". Comics have been calling him that for years.
