Former WWE wrestler Joan "Chyna" Laurer likely died of an accidental overdose, mixing a prescription sleeping pill and a tranquilizer, her manager, Anthony Anzaldo, revealed Wednesday.

"It's a 98 percent certainty and 2 percent speculation," he shared.

Anzaldo had discovered the 45-year-old dead in her Redondo Beach, California, apartment last week. He believes she may have died two or three days before he found her.

"She accidentally, over the course of two or three weeks, misused her legally prescribed medication," Anzaldo said. "They're not going to find, like, 60 pills in her stomach."

As RadarOnline.com reported, days before her death, friends were even planning an intervention, revealing that she was "getting out of control." Sadly, they were too late.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County coroner's office says the wrestler's toxicology test results are still pending.

Chyna's downward spiral first began when she left the wrestling world back in 2001. "She quickly lost everything," a friend revealed.

The reality star began her porn career with a sex tape in 2004, featuring her then-boyfriend, wrestler Sean Waltman. She went on to star in adult films for nine years. "She was unable to make smart career decisions due to her issues," the source explained.

She began drinking heavily and doing drugs, her pal added, eventually landing on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2007.

After starring on other reality shows, Chyna struggled to make it in Hollywood. "She desperately wanted to make a comeback, but doors were shut in her face ," the source said.

Chyna, the friend continued, struggled in her "horrible" relationships with men. In addition to Waltman, she dated radio host Jason Ellis and model Marcus Schenkenberg.
