Shannen Doherty's husband has filed a lawsuit against the couple's former business managers, claiming that the firm mishandled the 90210actress' affairs prior to her breast cancer diagnosis, ultimately damaging their love life.

In the lawsuit, filed on Friday in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Kurt Iswarienko claims that Steven D. Blatt and Tanner Mainstain Glynn & Johnson failed to pay Doherty’s medical insurance premiums, causing her to lose coverage for a year in 2014.

Iswarienko argued in the filing that the lapse led to the "late diagnosis" of Doherty's breast cancer in 2015, guaranteeing "invasive treatment, including mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation."

As a result, Doherty’s illness compromised her ability to provide Iswarienko with the "benefits of marriage," the lawsuit states.

The couple experienced the loss of "love, companionship, comfort, affection, solace, society, moral support, sexual relations and all other elements of consortium," that resulted in "pain, suffering, mental and emotional distress and worry," the amended filing claims.

But this isn't the first time Iswarienko has come after the management firm. In 2015, he sued the company for breach of contract, negligence and fraud.

Meanwhile, Doherty told PEOPLE magazine last August that she was "currently undergoing treatment" in the battle with the disease.

The former Charmed star also vowed to continue "to eat right, exercise and stay very positive about my life,” though it's clear it's taken a toll on her.
