A traditional Mass of Christian Burial will be held for late acting legend Rose Marie, who died Dec. 28 at the age of 94.

The Mass will be held Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. at the St. Charles Borromeo Church in North Hollywood, Calif. according to a statement from her daughter, Georgiana Marie “Noopy”.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for Heaven's Helpers Pet Rescue or Thrive Animal Rescue.

“By my mother’s own estimation, she had a wonderful life,” Noopy shared on Twitter. “While she was my mother, I know that to the world she was your Baby Rose Marie, your Sally Rogers, Doris’ Myrna Gibbons, the Top Center Square, the one who made you laugh, and the one who inspired you.

“She loved every minute of being all those things to you,” she continued. “She never stopped trying to please you, her audience, whether it be on camera, in print, or recently on social media. The love that so many gave back to her and your appreciation for her talent meant the world to her.”

Born Rose Marie Mazetta and was best remembered playing sarcastic writer Sally Rogers on The Dick Van Dyke Show, was still active in the entertainment world up until her death, and had been promoting a new documentary about her storied life, titled Wait for Your Laugh, that was released in November.

In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, best friend Harlan Boll, who the comic legend once referred to as one the most important people in her life, revealed the final moments before her tragic death.

“She had age problems — health issues that come with age,” Boll revealed. “She laid down, her caregiver came in to see if she wanted something to eat, and discovered she had stopped breathing.

“So she laid down and boom! Gone.”

The celebration of Marie’s life will be open to the public.
