Troubled Paris Jackson is turning to her trainwreck godfather Macaulay Culkin for support, leaving her friends fearful for her well-being!

The 18-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson is terrified of being left an orphan and has started leaning heavily on her "Uncle Mac" since learning of biological mom Debbie Rowe's life-and-death battle with breast cancer, insiders revealed.

"Having her mom so sick has really activated her abandonment worries," said a source.

But Culkin's had his own dark troubles and has been living on the edge for a long time. The 36-year-old Home Alone star nearly died from a heroin overdose and had once developed a $6,000-a-month oxycodone habit, said sources.

Jackson' pals believe Culkin's a dangerous role model for the teen, who is still fragile after trying to kill herself by slashing her wrists three years ago.

The wild child suffered another blow in June when police released reports detailing her late father's extensive child-pornography collection.

"The two have such deep mental issues," said an insider. "Mac has had his fair share of trouble with drugs, while she's still dealing with booze addiction. It's one step away from disaster!"

Pals believe Jackson is drawn to Culkin because of his link to her late dad, who died of a drug overdose in 2009. From ages 10 to 14, Culkin was one of the King of Pop's favorite young pals. Some of the boys accused the "Thriller" singer of molesting them.

Culkin insists nothing wrong ever happened when he slept in the same bed as Michael — despite testimony from the superstar's chef and housemaid that they saw "inappropriate" kissing and touching.

"Paris is so desperate for any real link to Michael," said a source. "It's sad that the only person she has to turn to is a man who has spent most of his life being plagued by rumors her dad molested him."
