They did not speak the language of love.

Malika Haqq has revealed that former Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was too 'aggressive' for her.

In an interview with People Kim Kardashian's BFF explained why the pair were not compatible enough.

"Ronnie and I are really, truly opposites,' Haqq, 34, said.

"His love language is very aggressive. It's verbally aggressive, it's physically aggressive. It's just the way he expresses himself."

The couple split up after only two months of dating back in February.

She called time on the relationship and now she's looking for love once again after the pair hooked up on the reality show Famously Single.

She added: "My love language is communication - I'm a big communicator and I'm affectionate.

"We show our love language in two very different ways, so the way we were trying to communicate with each other was often misconstrued because we don't speak the same language."
