"The facility doesn't want to send a staffer to Mexico with Kim for Brooke's wedding next weekend," an insider claimed. "Kim just isn't ready to be out in the world yet. But she is refusing to listen to any of the advice."

"Kim said if the rehab won't send a staffer, she will just leave," said the source. "Members of Kim's treatment team want her to stay in rehab for 90 days, but she is balking."

Richards faces two-and-a-half years in jail after she was charged with battery on a police officer, public intoxication and resisting arrest following an incident at the Beverly Hills Hotel Polo Lounge last month.

Even though Brinson, Kim’s daughter with ex Monty Brinson, already got married last summer at aunt Kathy Hilton's house, she has been planning a lavish second ceremony with husband, Thayer Wiederhorn, in Mexico.

And according to the source, "Kim keeps breaking down in tears in front of the staff lamenting she can't miss her daughter's wedding -- even though Brooke already was married last summer! Kim is living in her own world, and hasn't surrendered to the fact that she needs help."
