With Kim Richards officially fired from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and her sister Kyle Richards on the chopping block the execs have decided to shake things up – by hiring their sister Kathy Hilton!

"They've wanted to switch things up by trading the sisters for their much more famous sister," a source close to the show told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

Paris Hilton's mother lives in a stunning mansion in Bel Air with her husband Rick Hilton, a real estate mogul and heir to the hotel family fortune, and her jet-set lifestyle would fit in perfectly with the other ladies on the Bravo show.

But the source said that so far, she has kept her new job a secret from Kim and Kyle.

"The one rub is they told Kathy not to say anything to them. So her sisters, like the rest of the cast, are in the dark about the new casting."

Hilton's arrival has been in the works for years: According to the source, RHOBH execs have tried since the beginning to have Kathy on the show, but she never had any interest until now.

"Execs initially wanted Kathy for the show years ago, but she passed. And she ended up recommending her sisters who were clamoring to do it," the source said.
