Will God Help? Duggars 'Praying' Post Sex Abuse Scandal, Family Insider Says

Outside of Jim Bob, Michelle and Josh's carefully crafted statements about the eldest son's current sex abuse scandal, the normally outspoken Duggars have kept a low-profile over the whirlwind past week.

But the family's close friend, country musician James Garrett, exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that the extra-large brood has been busy focusing on prayer.

"They're praying about it, as they should," reveals Brandon, Missouri native Garrett, who says he speaks with Jim Bob's mother Mary, his sister Deanna, and niece Amy every day. "Their perspective is, it's in God's hands now."

Garrett posed with Jim Bob Duggar's niece Amy and mother Mary at the musician’s home in Branson, Missouri, on May 27.

Despite the public backlash and rumors that their TLC reality show 19 Kids And Counting will be canceled, the fervent Christian clan "seems okay," Garrett adds. "They're hurting, but they're holding up good."

According to an explosive leaked police report, a teenage Josh fondled at least five minor females in the family home between 2002 and 2003.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Josh's victims are truly suffering following now that the family's sick secrets have been exposed.

"The girls are reliving the horror all over again," a family insider tells RadarOnline.com. "They thought the difficult times were behind them."
