Gene Simmons allowed officers from the department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to search his home on Thursday, though authorities say the rocker and his family are not considered suspects.

Police also stated that the 65-year-old was "extremely cooperative" throughout their search.

"Today members of the Los Angeles Police Department visited Mr. And Mrs. Simmons at their home to discuss a crime that may have occurred on their property last year while Mr. Simmons was away on tour with KISS," Simmons' rep shared in a statement.
