Aaron Carter: 'I'm Gonna Vote For Trump & Nobody's Gonna Tell Me No!'
Aaron Carter is standing by his decision to vote for Donald Trump — and he doesn't care what the haters think! In an exclusive interview with Star, he explained why Trump is the man for millennials.
Carter, 28, announced his endorsement via Twitter in late February, and received plenty of backlash afterwards. The "Fool's Gold" singer then defended himself in a Twitter rant before dropping the subject altogether.
Now, Carter has exclusively revealed to Star that although he was initially angry about the backlash, he's going to stick by his decision to vote Trump.
"I'm gonna vote for Trump, and nobody's gonna tell me no," he insisted.
"I just like Donald Trump's attitude and he just seems like the kind of guy that could be on the face of a $500 bill," Carter explained.
"Some of his views I don't agree with, but that's for me, not for anyone else," he added. "If people understood politics they would understand that."
The former child star noted that this will be the first election he's voting in, saying that he was old enough — but not wise enough — to vote in the last presidential race.
Carter explained that a "wise voter" is "somebody who understands politics and people and pays attention to their country and deals with business and watches what goes on."
