In a ruling Friday, a federal judge has denied Bill Cosby's request to dismiss a defamation suit brought by his alleged sexual assault victims.

As RadarOnline.com reported, three of Cosby's alleged victims filed the suit in Massachusetts after they say Cosby called them liars when he and his representatives defended against their sexual assault accusations. Mark G. Mastroianni wrote in his ruling that Cosby's motions to dismiss "are denied in their entirety," the New York Times reports.

"This ruling allows my clients the opportunity to continue with the case and restore their good names and reputations," plaintiffs' attorney said in a statement. "Cosby will be deposed at the earliest opportunity."

Cosby's spokesperson declined to comment on the ruling.
