Superstitious Courteney Cox, whom divorced David Arquette, is doing everything she can to ensure her upcoming marriage to her much younger fiancé, Johnny McDaid, will last forever, a source reveals.

And that includes relying on the luck of the Irish!

The Cougartown star, 50, cast a bizarre “love spell” on rocker McDaid, 38, during their trip to his native Derry, Ireland, according to The National ENQUIRER.

After a nun urged them to follow the local ritual for newly engaged couples before their wedding, a source said, Cox walked to a spot beneath McDaid’s window “during the witching hour (midnight to 1 a.m.)” and whispered his name “three times to the night wind.”

Cox and the Snow Patrol musician announced their engagement on June 26 via Twitter, and she met his family while in Ireland.

The source also told The ENQUIRER that Cox loves McDaid’s hometown so much, she’s now determined to walk down the aisle in an Irish castle.

The two sparked rumors that they would soon wed after they were spotted looking at rings at a jewelry store in Derry.

Cox’s divorce from Arquette (father to her daughter, Coco) was finalized last year, and he proposed to his baby mama Christina McLarty just days after his former Friends star ex and McDaid got engaged.
