Gwyneth Paltrow managed to smooth things over with Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Graydon Carter so a planned takedown piece on the Iron Man 3 actress has been softened — if it even runs at all, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
But now it seems the two have patched things up with a long phone conversation.
“Gwyneth and Graydon spoke on the phone a few weeks ago,” a source told Us Weekly.
“They worked out some of their differences.”
And according to the source, if the article still runs it will be much less controversial than initially planned.
“There may be a story, but it won’t be as bad as it originally was going to be,” the insider said.
It was Radar who first reported that the explosive takedown piece had been softened.
“Whatever they wind up publishing, it’s going to be soft,” the insider told Radar.
“Gwyneth’s campaign against the Vanity Fair article has apparently worked and she’s not as worried as she was three weeks ago.”
